i'm tracking a memory issue under WLS 10.3.2 (Windows) from a simple web application.
I had following parameter to the java command line (using jrockit) but i'm not able to get a memory dump when the OOM exception occurs.
More, the jvm is not stoped when the OOM exception occurs.
Can you please tell me which version of JRockit you are using?
Since version R28.0.0 JRockit VM has the ability to generate a Heap Dump following an OOM condition.
Just add the -XX:+HeapDumpOnOutOfMemoryError or -XX:+HeapDumpOnCtrlBreak in your start-up JVM arguments to generate Java heap dumps in HPROF binary format on OutOfMemory errors or in demand in windows via CTRL+break.
