          Please post the details of the application release, database version and OS.

          Was this working before? If yes, any changes have been done recently?

          Did AutoConfig complete successfully on this node?

          Please see if any of these docs is applicable.

              11.5.10.2 with 10.2.0.2 RDBMS

              Actually we recently deployed JRE, but after that it was working fine, but only 2 days b4 it starts giving this error
              I bounced the Apache but still the same problem, it is working for some time and we are able to login but in between it is giving this error and we are not able to login

              Autoconfig ran successfully

                Any other details about the error in other log files (database log file, access_log*)?

                What application components you are running on this node? What does "adopmnctl.sh status" return?

                Thanks,

                  Hi,

                  Can you please enable apache logging using below step(picked from MOS _Troubleshooting Login Problems in Oracle Applications 11i (11.5.2 – 11.5.10+) [ID 342332.1]_ )

                  Check jserv.log, mod_jserv.log, apache.log and update with error message their

                  3. Modify the $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Jserv/etc/jserv.conf file. Search for the parameter:

                  ApJServLogLevel notice Change the 'notice' to 'info'

                  4. Modify the $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Jserv/etc/jserv.properties file. Search for the following section:

                  log=false Change this to be log=true
                  and
                  Change

                  log.channel=false To be: log.channel=true

                  6. Modify the $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/conf/httpd.conf file. Search for:

                  LogLevel Set the LogLevel to 'info' from its current value.

                  7. Modify the $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/conf/httpd_pls.conf file (if it exists). Search for the following parameter

                  LogLevelSet the LogLevel to 'info' from its current value.

                  8. Modify the:
                  $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Apache/modplsql/cfg/wdbsrv.app
                  add the line:
                  debugModules=Info
                  immediatly after the line:
                  custom_auth = CUSTOM

                  9. Start the HTTP Server.

                  10), Reproduce the error message.

                  As enabling logging will create lot of logs and user might feel slowness so you should disable it as soon as you are done.
                  11) revert back old files and bounce apache.

                  Thanks,,
                  JD

                    We enabled log in these files, but we we could not find any error

                    But there recurring issue in logging, sometimes we are able to login and sometimes we are not able to,
                    and the Apache log shows this error:
                    OPM:Can not find one alive process
                    then as a work around we bounce apache and it starts working fine but again after 1 hour or so the issue is again comming

                    this is our external web tier where only apache is running, we got this issue after deplyoying jre

                    Regards

                      Can you please check if their is any error in $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Jserv/logs/jvm/OACoreGroup.*.stderr

                      Also please check below note:-

                        Please stop posting the contents of MOS docs as it is illegal.

                        I have asked you many times not to post the contents of the docs but you still insist to do so! Mentioning the Doc ID should be enough.

                        Thanks,
                        Hussein

                          This has nothing to do with Oracle EBS.
