Oracle Application Server 10g Downloads

218246Dec 14 2003 — edited Jan 22 2004
Hi All,

Just wanted to give a quick update on the downloads. Due to some maintainence problems on OTN, it is currently unavailable. 10g (9.0.4) should be downloadable again this week on Solaris and HP. We hope to release Linux by the end of this week as well.

Now it is end of this week... When can we expect downloads also for Linux to show up again? How come "download maintenance" takes several days?

Linux before Windows? That is a strange priority.

When will the Windows version be released?

What a shift in priority.Linux before Windows. How long are the windows going to wait. Oracle Microsoft war continues even after the capture of Saddam. LOL. Merry Christmas guy. And Oracle keep the db market undisputed championship belt for ever. See you next year.

We are having problems downloading Disk3 for Solaris. We have tried on a number of computers and from different WAN points. It always stops downloading at 82-83%. Any idea why?

This is no place to post such a problem as 99% of the time it is the user's network problem, but we downloaded Disk 1 and 2 with no problems at all and have not had a history of issues in the past.

Thank you,
Matt

I am able to successfully download Disk 3 on the Linux version of 9.0.4 but the filesize is not the same as recorded on the website:
My download = 591496KB

in addition when I gunzip I get the following error:

unexpected end of file

All the other disks downloaded and unzipped without problem.
I think there is an issue with Disk 3.

Any plans to fix this?

The disk3 file I have here is 605691935 bytes and it "gunzips" just fine. Maybe you can try download again?

This is my third attempt and i'm still getting 591496KB as my file size.

I am launching Mozilla and downloading from my Linux server. Are there any settings that I need to confire to enable large zip files to dwonload it.

Still not able to download AS 10g on Linux. When is this going to be available?

We have checked and rechecked the download, many people on this forum have successfully downloaded and installed the product. So I am not sure what is the problem in your environment which is preventing successful download.
