We are planning to develop a portal for our employees using Oracle Portal 11g and expose some of the functions/data in Oracle E-Buisiness suite HRMS responsibilites. If anyone has done this please share your experiences on the following :
1. Securing content based on responsibilities : We would like to secure the portal pages or even portlets themselves based on the responsibilities the employee has access to. (Much like the applications navigator portlet does)
2. Display of oracle delivered portlets can be controlled using the menu attached to the SSWA preferences responsibility. Can we create a similar mechanism for our custom portlets also ?
