Even, I am getting the same bug on my machine (Win 7)!
So, it is kind of BETA FLOP!
This worked for me:
1. Uninstall Netbeans 7.
2. Install Netbeans 7.
3. Start Netbeans and go to Tools -> Plugins
4. New updates should appear. Install them. See patch info here http://wiki.netbeans.org/NetBeans7.0PatchesInfo
5. Install JavaFx plugins
Thanks that fixed the problem
For anyone wanting to install the JavaFX 2.0 plugins on Netbeans 7 - ensure that your NB installation is patched fully up to date before installing JavaFX plugins (Tools / Plugins / Updates)
Thank you '862201' -- I had the same problem and found the solution here.
I've asked if this can be added to the installation instructions (ie ensure your netbeans installation is fully patched before installing JavaFX plugins)
can any one tell me where to find .NMB files .
i installed Javafx run time and javafx 2.0 net beans plug in. but later i tried to add plugin in netbeans 7.0 but i couldn't find any .nmb files.
please let me know how to overcome this issue.
Go to Tools -> Plugins ->tab Downloaded -> button Add Plugins -> browse to .nbm files on disk (the location you choosed when you installed the plugin).
Open all the files and press Install.
I had the same issue, a solution that worked for me is to install the Netbeans bundle for Java EE rather than Java SE.
