    Does anyone have a working solution of mod_ntlm + mod_proxy + Apex Listener

      Hi everyone.

      I have the Apex Listener running in Tomcat behind an Apache Proxy. So... I have the following standard sort of thing in my Apache config:

      ProxyPass /apex http://myapplication:8080/apex
      ProxyPassReverse /apex http://myapplication:8080/apex

      This works fine until I switch on NTLM (using the mod_ntlm Apache module) as there appear to be various issues running NTLM through a proxy.

      Can anyone provide any pointers?

      Thanks.

          Hi Nick,

          mod_ntlm set REMOTE_USER to transport the information. I guess this doesn't work with reverse proxy on HTTP level. You'll have to forward the requests to you Tomcat with mod_jk via AJP.
          Though based on a question concerning mod_osso, the solution will probably be the same as described here: {message:id=9609674}

          If this doesn't help you, could you please describe the issues that arise when you enable mod_ntlm? It's hard to find a solution otherwhise...

          Thanks,

          Udo
