RMAN-05556: not all datafiles have backups that can be recovered to SCN 10861642884597
What is the script you have used?
        Have you restored controlfile manually?

If you run DUPLICATE then it will set new name automatically, restores datafiles, later internally creates controlfile, it will switch all datafiles and later opens database with resetlogs.

I'm not sure how you have taken backup.

Take a fresh backup, put in same location then perform duplicate.

        Oracle Error :: RMAN-05556
not all datafiles have backups that can be recovered to SCN string

        Cause
One or more datafiles being duplicated could not be restored as no available backups were found.

        Action
Change the system change number (SCN) or make backups available for the specified datafiles and retry the command.

Good. The controlfile is being restored.

ORA-19504: failed to create file "/u01/oracle/oradata/patriadb/users01.dbf"
ORA-27040: file create error, unable to create file
Linux Error: 2: No such file or directory
Can you confirm that /u01/oracle/oradata/patriadb is present and writable by Oracle ?

            Hemant,
            That did it.

I made sure directory structure was same on source and target.
I know, pretty simple, but overlooked sometimes...:)

            thanks Hemant and CKPT.....
