Hence my query. I am doing a simple clone with NO archivelogs or backups. The corrupted file does not exist inn the backup location either. My question too - how or why did this file get corrupted?
I only know what you post.
Do any clues exist within OS log files?
Do any clues exist within alert_SID.log file for this DB?
Thanks. Sorry for not making it clear in my initial post!
Nothing is OS logs.
The alert logs shows. But the fact that this archive does not exist , could it be an issue with the redo3?
