Extended Datatype Support (EDS)

Hi,

has anyone experience with Extended Datatype Support (EDS) in STREAMS ?

I tried to add a rolling upgrade of the tables oe.warenhouses and oe.customers to a running replication of the HR- and SCOTT-Schemen.

The oracle document over EDS (readme-File) is miserable :-( !

Please, help !

Hi Bernard,

I have read the generated SQL-Files (read README-File in ( Metalink: Extended Datatype Support (EDS) for Streams [ID 556742.1]) :
run1_source_data_1.sql 
run1_source_streams_2.sql
run1_dest_data_1.sql
run1_dest_streams_2.sql
and understand now how it works.

But I still have some problems to find die Description of the undocumented functions like:
SYS_OP_NII(...),
SYS_ET_IMAGE_TO_BLOB and
the HINT /*+ relational("A") restrict_all_ref_cons*/ in INSERT and UPDATE
I have marked it as answered because I have waited too long and nobody gave me a comment or answer.

I have thought nobody take a look at my case.

But now you are the first one, I'm happy. :-)
