UML Sequence Diagram and Class Diagram for RMI

Hello,
I'm working on a student project and I'm looking for a UML Sequence Diagram and Class Diagram so that I can better understand it. Are there any diagrams available or is there a short description from which I could build these diagrams?
To make it a little bit more clear. I want to draw diagrams where you can see the participating classes and, if possible, the hardware interfaces on a high abstraction level. What I have in mind is something like a diagram with the rmi.server, rmi.registry, rmi.client and the network device.

First part looks like you are asking for a UML tutorial. You can google for that.

Second part is just implementing UML.

But only if you read the title as well as the post ...

@OP some of this appears in my book java.rmi: the Guide to Remote Method Invocation, but not in UML format.
