ANNOUNCEMENT: community.oracle.com is currently Read only due to planned upgrade until 29-Sep-2020 9:30 AM Pacific Time. Any changes made during Read only mode will be lost and will need to be re-entered when the application is back read/write.
I just started with chapter 1 of [Expert Oracle Application Express|http://www.apress.com/9781430235125].
There John Edward Scott showed the importance and effects of compression and Expiry Headers. Especially how to set them in OHS. John also shows both features are not available in EPG mode.
Afterwards he describes how to set compression manually. But no words if Expiry Headers can be enabled or not.
Does anyone can tell me if Expiry Headers can be enabled in APEX Listener?
There is no real need behind this question, just pure curiosity.
I don't think you can do this with the APEX Listener in standalone mode. If you deploy it to a "full-blown" JEE container, you can add a filter to set that header, but as far as I know it's not part of the default options of the APEX Listener (yet). At least it's not documented.
