I have a Ultrawide scsi disk array that I last used on a ultra-sparc machine running Solaris 7 or 8. I needed some data from this so I've attached this to a X86 system running solaris 10. I can't seem to fsck these discs.
prtvtoc shows there is a partition table, but newfs -N cannot determine alternate superblock locations. So first things first is this even possible and if it is, what am I missing?
Thanks for your responses.
UFS - platform depending FS. You can't read UFS from SPARC system on x86 Systems.
Reason of this problem :
SPARC CPU is big endian.
x86 CPU is lilte endian.
