I have read some articles about Array-Binding to get arrays of values with one statement in the database.
In these examples the array contain simple values like numbers, varchars or dates. In .NET you are working most time with classes and you build lists of these classes.
Example: Class Employee with the properties EmployeeId, Name, GivenName, Salary, ...
I want to insert a List of Employee in the Database or use this list as parameter for a StoredProcedure (PL/SQL).
Is this possible or what would be the recommended workarround?
I have seen in http://download.oracle.com/docs/html/E10927_01/featUDTs.htm, that I can use OracleDbType.Object since 11g Release 1 (18.104.22.168.20), ODP.NET.
Please since which version of the database I can use it ? (We are at 10.2)
