Hi to All,

This is my "scenario":

1) on server windows 2003 i have installed Oracle DB 10gR2 and Oracle Forms & Reports service 10gR2
2) I have configured formsweb.cfg:
# System parameter: base HTML file for use with JInitiator client
#baseHTMLjinitiator=basejini.htm
baseHTMLjinitiator=basejpi.htm

# Page displayed to users to allow them to download Sun's Java Plugin.
# Sun's Java Plugin is typically used for non-Windows clients.
# (NOTE: you should check this page and possibly change the settings)
jpi_download_page=http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html
# Parameter related to the version of the Java Plugin
jpi_classid=clsid:CAFEEFAC-0016-0000-0026-ABCDEFFEDCBA
# Parameter related to the version of the Java Plugin
jpi_codebase=http://java.sun.com/update/1.6.0/jinstall-6-windows-i586.cab#Version=1,6,0,26
# Parameter related to the version of the Java Plugin
jpi_mimetype=application/x-java-applet;jpi-version=1.6.0_26
3) On an OEL5 64 bit machine, I have installed JRE6 64 bit and installed the plugin in Firefox

Now, if I enter in the Firefox browser http://IP_address:7778/forms/frmservlet?config=myapp, the browser crash and is closed.

the Java test on Windows is:
java -version
java version "1.6.0_26"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_26-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.1-b02, mixed mode)
and the same on linux

Can someone help me ?

Thank You and Best Regards
Gaetano
