I'm using Forms 6i against a 188.8.131.52.0 database, Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit. This is the exact same setup that I was previously using and had no issues whatsoever but my computer crashed so got a new one and just did a fresh install. I can compile a form however when I try to run form using Ctrl + R the module builds successfully but does not run. This worked fine for me before. Can anyone provide any clues as to what may be preventing this from working?
More than likely, you need to change the properties of the Forms Runtime (ifrun60.exe) to run in Windows XP mode and run with Administrator privileges. Since Oracle Forms 6i is so old it does not work very well with the new security model of Windows 7.
Hope this helps,

My system configuration is just same as above. Same thing happened to me after after installing Forms patch 26. When I am pressing CTRL+R it's saying "Module built successfully". not running.
