SSL Versigin certificate chain
Sep 19, 2011 6:20 AM
I have the following problem with my versigin SSL certificate: I am trying to request from an Android smartphone to a REST service on a tomcat 7 server, and got the following error:
I loaded the root and intermediate certificates into a keystore which is loaded on the client
javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Not trusted server certificate
java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: TrustAnchor for CertPath not found.
- I found this in stackoverflow: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5758812/the-webserver-i-talk-to-updated-its-ssl-cert-and-now-my-app-cant-talk-to-it/5760962#5760962
It looks like java does not know the certificate chain, but how can I provide this?
thx for any help
