Few days back I ran CALC ALL script in foreground mode on one database. I cancelled it as it is taking longer time but it's status is still terminating only. It is in same status for long time in my development server. I tried to kill it in many ways (logout session commands and kill commands), even right click on server name and went to sessions and tried there also but it is no way getting killed. Can anyone help me in solving this issue? I am in deep urgency. Friends I need your help.
This is from the Oracle Support web-site:
Try running the following two MaxL commands to end the sessions:
alter system logout session all force;
alter system kill request all;
Hope it helps.
I tried both MaxL scripts but no use session is still in the terminating status only.
MAXL> alter system logout session all force;
OK/INFO - 1013220 - Supervisor [xxxxxxxx] has forced user [xxxxxxxx] to logout.
OK/INFO - 1051037 - Logging out user [xxxxxxxxx], active for 14 minutes.
ERROR - 1013290 - Failed to logout user [xxxxxxxxx]: timeout while waiting for requests to die.
MAXL> alter system kill request all;
OK/INFO - 1056090 - System altered.
but if I go to admin console and checks there or re runs alter system logout session all force;
I found still session is alive in terminating status.
Please help me with suitable solution.
