    Pop up page: how to control it.

    user641914
      Hello,
      I am opening a popup page in APEX 4 using popUp2 JavaScript routine (contained in standard APEX JavaScript libraries).

      The popup window opens in the upper left corner of the browser's window.

      Is there a way to control the position in which to open the popup?

      Thanks

      Alessandro, Milan

          Hello Alessandro,

          you probably wanted to post this question in the forum {forum:id=137}, right? This forum is dedicated to the APEX Listener, one of the web server alternatives to host an APEX instance.
          Anyway, I think can answer your question as well. There is the "moveTo" method in JavaScript that can position a window, e.g.
          function my_apex_popup()
          {
              my_apex_popup_window = window.open("http://myhost:8080/apex/f?p=123:123", "MyPopUp", "location=1,status=1,scrollbars=1,  width=100,height=100");
              my_apex_popup_window.moveTo(0, 0);
          }
          will create a 100x100 popup for http://myhost:8080/apex/f?p=123:123 with location, status and scroll bars and position it in the top-left corner.
