WTC client and call-path monitoring
Oct 18, 2011 6:51 AM
I'm in the process of experimenting with TSAM capabilities with WTC.
I have a machine with WebLogic 10.3 and a second machine with Tuxedo 10gR3. I have a WTC client (simpapp) which calls TOUPPER service, advertised by Tuxedo's simpserv server.
Seems like our TSAM plugin isn't invoked for these type of scenario.
The literature specifies that "Call path monitoring can be initiated from a client, server or WSH/JSH."
Does a WTC client counts as a "client" with the ability to initiate call-path monitoring?
Thanks in advance,

So far, TSAM cannot monitor WTC in call path as an initiator.
In your case, if first service invoked by WTC doesn't call other services, you cannot use call path monitor.
You can try service monitoring.
