Sun Server Netra-T2000 showing Soft Errors for CD/DVDW

Every Sun Server Netra-T2000 in our network is showing Soft Errors for the CD/DVDW drives. Does anyone know what these errors are and how do I clear them?

      [root@sol10u3_lzs_1_12_1 /]# iostat -e

Your optical drives are probably empty.
Volume management will periodically poll your devices in case it is needed to read anything and to confirm the device exists. Empty optical drives always produce a few timeouts such as you are seeing.

          Ignore the "errors".
You know it's for the optical drives, thus those numbers are irrelevant..

          Clear the errors?
Sure! Iostat's information gets wiped when you reboot the OS.
