Can you make sure Oracle home and system path variable is set properly as installation of "Integrated Marginplanning Model" invokes "SQLPlus" during bootstrap to create some of the required "in tables". In addition check other connection settings like SID, port,etc., are correct.
Have these variables set:
also site.properties is about the same as a working one on same box running iop.
so what else could it be ?
For bootstrapping IMP(Integrated Marginplanning) model successfully, we need to have either "Database" or the "Database Client" installed on the same server where IMP is being installed.
Having ensured this, then set "ORACLE_HOME\bin" in the system's environment "path" variable where ORACLE_HOME points to the root where database or the client is installed.
This is what I was sayign to ensure ORACLE_HOME is set in the path variable in my last post also.
Yes rdbms is installed in this case and the following entry is in the path D:\app\jcmccutcheon\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\bin.
Yet I still see the connect error. Note I tried the username password combo in site.properties using sqlplus and it works.
I even pasted this long connect string into the site.properties file to see if I could bypass tnsnames and got the same error.
Replace the code
my $connectString = $dbUser."/".$dbPassword."@".$dbSid;
in rundbscript.pl file present in <install_root>/bin folder... the above codes are present at end of file
Replace the dbuser , dbpassword and sid in the above code with the actual users , password and sid.
Then try again.
