for Accessing Weblogic Console :
http://IP or hostname:7001/console
for accessing weblogic Enterprise Manager
http://IP or hostname:7001/em
for accessing BI Presentation analytics
http://IP or hostname:9704/analytics
None of the URLs work. I get "Unable to connect" error message.
I think its something to do with weblogic. Do I have to open any firewall ports on the Sample VM ?

Regardless of setting the VM as NAT, Bridged, etc. if the WebLogic server and other services are started you will always be able to open them from within the VM using the localhost as the server name in the browser, ex: http://localhost:7001/console
From reaching it from you host machine (i.e. laptop or workstation where you are hosting the vm) you should be able to use http://localhost:7001/console when using NAT and when using Bridged you can you use the IP that you stated you are having issues with.
Double-check that you have actually started your weblogic server.
Remember that you cannot make the switch between NAT and Bridged without restarting all of the applications (i.e.: WLS, OBI, etc.). If you made the switch between NAT/Bridged while the WLS server or OBI, etc. were already running you will need to restart all services or better yet restart the VM completely.
Lastly, when the machine boots up from the command prompt of the VM ensure that you run an ifconfig -a command to ensure what the Bridged IP is that the VM will truly be using. Make sure this is the same one in the /etc/host file.
That should do it.
Thanks for your replies. I have resolved the problem with our IT.
Can you share what is the solution?
I can not access to
I also so notice that presentation service was down when I display the statusOPMN.
Are they related? If so, how can I get it up? I tried stop and startOPMN again.
