    Problem downloading files

    900938
      Hi,

I am trying to download the WIN64 oracle 11g client and I am getting the following error:

      (104) Connection reset by peer

I have also tried other files and I am getting the same error.

      Do you know the reason?

      Thanks,!

This indicates it is not a specific file issue.

Try using a different browser (and/or clear the browser cache history) and check then.

            Hi,
I have same problem. I am not able to download any files from otn since November 17th.
I have been trying from different ISP, from different web browser and from different computers but the problem is the same.
It's possible to download from edelivery but, sometimes, it's easier for us download from otn.

            Does anybody know what's happend????

            Regards.

Hi! I'm in same situation: I can't download any file from Oracle.com
                Browser: Mozilla 3, 4, 5, IceApe, Opera, IE6, 7, 8
                Message: Connection reset by peer
                Internet Connection: direct
                Location: Spain

I can log in in Oracle through "Oracle Access Manager" OK, but in the next step (download) error appears.

                Testing:

Today I opened a SR to Oracle and they said Oracle does not solve "oracle.com" download related questions and we must rely on community.

A friend from Switzeland has same symptons with Windows XP, IE 8 and no firewall.

                            Hi,

The problem is the DNS server in Spain and therefore can not access the Oracle server downloads.

I changed my DNS server to OpenDNS and I can access without problems.

                            Hope this helps everyone :)

                              Thank so much.
It works! But it's a great problem for many organizations who can't change DNS :-(

Someone from Oracle.com can fix it, please?

                                OpenDNS works like workaround!!

Did you try changing the DNS ?

Also You can try with public proxys such as http://proxify.com

                                  Regards,Diego
