SOA Suite 11g and WebLogic 12c?

WebLogic 12c will release soon and support JEE 6 which eases Java development a lot.

At the moment, we use SOA Suite 11g with WebLogic 11g. I would prefer to use JEE 6 in future Java projects - and I do not want to wait for a release of SOA Suite 12c. What do you recommend:
1) Wait for SOA Suite 12c
2) Install WebLogic 12c separately for JEE 6 applications
3) Upgrade WebLogic 11g to 12c and use SOA Suite 11g on it (if that is even possible - probably not !?)

Maybe you can give me a recommendation?

This depends somewhat on your timeline. In the short term your best bet is probably to install 12c for just the JEE 6 applications. You probably should talk to product management to see about timelines for a SOA Suite 12c release before making the decision though.

Hi.

I have to develop a SOA application from scratch and I am going to use Oracle SOA Suite 11g. Following the Prerequisites & Recommended Install Process that I found at the [Release Downloads for Oracle SOA Suite|http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/soasuite/downloads/index.html?ssSourceSiteId=ocomen] page, I downloaded Weblogic 11g (i.e. 10.3.5 version).
Then I discovered that Weblogic 12c was released, which is fully compliant with JEE 6 specification. Thus I would like to know if I can use Weblogic 12c instead of 11g for the SOA environment. I mean, is Weblogic 12c compatible with SOA Suite 11g?

You can't run SOA Suite 11g on WebLogic Server 12c.

No idea as of now. You may check with your local Oracle Sales Representative.
