    Searching Expired Quotation

    904240
      Good Day

In the Purchasing Module, the Quote Analysis is not showing expired quotes. How can I get it there ? I need to compare new quotation to an old one for a specific item.

      Regards

          Hi Abdul,
In Quote Analysis, we can see RFQ/Quotation lines only if its status is "Active"
Also pls make sure to use the effective dates as required.

Actually, I would like to search an active expired quotation where effective date had passed already. I verified in my test case that the status is active but still no result.
My goal is to compare the new quotation with old ones.

            Please support.

            Regards

              Abdul,
Since the effective dates have already passed, we cannot get this Quotation in Quote Analysis.
Not sure you dont have an option of comparing this Quote with others...

In Quote the criteria of searching a quotation would be
              1) no end dates or atleast some future date
              2) quotation should be in active status.

If still your requirements stand still, I think we should do some customizations...

              Thanks
              -Arif.

                Thank you Mr. Arif

I don't see my requirement as unique. It should be a standard in Oracle ERP.
If Quote Analysis is not helpful, isn't there any other facility or trik where someone can compare the quotes?

                Regards
