      Hi,

      I am trying to install Solaris 10 on a Xen VM. On booting from an attached ISO I get the following message and error:

      WARNING: Attempting to load Xen drivers on non-Xen system
      WARNING: Couldn't initialize xpv framework

      panic [cpu0]/thread=fffffffffbc28340: unable to configure /xpvd nexus

      fffffffffbc6ad50 genunix:main+117 ()
      fffffffffbc6ad60 unix:_start+9d ()

      skipping system dump - no dump device configured
      rebooting...

      The config file for the VM is as follows:

      kernel = "/usr/lib/xen/boot/hvmloader"
      device_model = "/usr/lib64/xen/bin/qemu-dm"
      builder = "hvm"
      memory = "16384"
      name = "cajf0el3qyh8ul"
      vcpus = "2"

      vif = [ "type=ioemu, mac=00:16:3e:a3:b6:0e, bridge=dgv37m757y78af, ip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, vifname=pk47rx9zc51qcb, rate=100Mb/s" ]

      disk = [ "phy:/dev/onapp-v4yd7qd9uvo4k8/n6xfewn5m70p5x,ioemu:hda,w", "phy:/dev/loop0,ioemu:hdc:cdrom,r" ]
      vnc = 1
      vncpasswd="ty4mi0i9l1ow"
      usbdevice="tablet"
      boot="d"
      timer_mode = 2
      viridian = 1

      timer_mode = 2
      viridian = 1

      timer_mode = 2
      viridian = 1

      timer_mode = 2
      viridian = 1

      timer_mode = 2
      viridian = 1

      timer_mode = 2
      viridian = 1

      timer_mode = 2
      viridian = 1

      If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions about how I should approach this it would be much appreciated!

      David
