    Issues on collection data (OEM 11g)

      Hi members,

      Environment OEM 11g :
      Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.4 (Tikanga) 2.6.18 164.el5 (64-bit)
      Oracle Database

      Databases target :
      Agent 11g
      Oracle Database (with 7 instances)

      I'm trying to troubleshoot issue when generating reports.

      On "Reports" tab I select "Oracle Database Tablespace Monthly Space Usage" report and choose one of 7 instances. Period is "Last 31 days".

      Earliest Collection Time Unavailable
      Latest Collection Time Unavailable

      No data is currently available

      How to verify collection data is ok ?

      How to troubleshoot this issue ?

          A few things to check:

          - Is the database in question is shown as up on the console?
          - From database target home page, follow the All Metrics link and check if there are values for the Table Allocation metrics?

            Is there a solution for this ? I am also facing the same issue.



            I checked the All Metrics link, i do not see the Table Allocation Metrics available. What to do next. Please suggest.

              Run the following command from the <agent home>/bin directory to check if there is a scheduled data collection for the Tablespce Allocation metric.

              emctl  status agent scheduler | grep  tbspAllocation


              - If the metric collection is scheduled, you should see something like this:

              <date> <time> : oracle_database:<db_target_name>:tbspAllocation


              - If not, run the following to see if the database target is being monitored by the agent:

              emctl config agent listtargets


              Hopefully the above will give you sufficient hints to proceed with troubleshooting. If not, consider log an SR to get help from Support.
