Generally this should not happen, but browsers do cache the current login details etc. Yes, you can have 2 or any number of domains on same machine as far as they run on different ports. But say you open IE browser login into first domain console. Then open another browser and login into 2 domain console, you may run into issues. One workaround if you really want to open both at same time is, have 2 different browsers. Like IE and Firefox. This may work. But ideally once you logged into one console, unless you logout (and sometimes close and open new browser) then you can login into another console or infact same console with different credentials.
Either way, this should NOT kill the server itself. Thats weird and I have not seen this anytime.
I Doubt your observation of the problem, can you try below scenario.
Scenario: Note: if you really didnot find any errors in problem Admin Server logs, then proceed with this
Step1: Stop Admin Servers in both domains.
Step2: Start Admin Server live Domain.
Step3: Access console url http://abc.com:7001/console and close the browser after check
Step4: Capture Results as Result 01.
Step5: Start Admin Server in Finance-App Domain
Step6: Access console url http://abc.com:7010/console and close the browser after check
Step7: Capture Results as Result 02.
Step8: Access console url http://abc.com:7001/console and http://abc.com:7010/console in same browser with 2 tabs.
Step9: Capture Results as Result 03.
Ideally as you said, step 6 is failed. in that case execute step1,5,6,7,2,3,4,8,9, then you step 2 should failed.
if this happens, then only your statement is right :), other wise, its only one domain/Finance-App problem only.
Revert with your outcome, surely we can fix this :)
