When I try to boot Solaris 11x86 live cd on my thinkpad x201 laptop, it hangs after choosing Oracle Solaris 11 11/11 from GRUB menu. The screen is full of many small blocks filled with random colors. Waiting for long time won't see X showing up. Using VESA doesn't help also. I have tried to run it on other system with dedicated graphic card successfully. But this laptop has an intel i7 processor which has integrated graphics. I'm wondering if anybody have successfully booted Solaris 11 on a laptop with i7 and integrated GMA. Thanks
