you said it in your email: HP disks, on a full rack, give 100TB or RAW disk space, if you use normal redundancy (you should have this at least), then divide this by 2, leading to 50TB, and if you subtract the space taken by the OS +.... and allow for rebalance in case you loose some disks, you get something around 45TB.
With HC disks, you use the same math, but as the disks are now 5 times bigger than HP (3TB vs .6), you get around 45*5=225TB of usable disk space.

Hi, read carefully Exadata spec. There are two configuration:
- Exadata Database Machine X2-8 Full Rack with High Performance SAS Disks
100 TB of raw disk data capacity
Up to 28 TB of uncompressed user data
- Exadata Database Machine X2-8 Full Rack with High Capacity SAS Disks
336 TB of raw disk data capacity
Up to 100 TB of uncompressed user data
and you will have no questions about it ))))
Below is the complete calculation:
In exadata full rack, the total number of storage servers=14
Each storage server contains 12 disks
Each disk contains 558 GB storage space (in case of SAS High Performance)
Hence the total raw storage size in full rack=14*12*558 GB=91 TB
Out of 91 TB the total usable storage size you would be getting around 28 TB after deducting the required storage for mirroring and REDO and SYSTEM data storage.
