I have installed Mobile app for OBIEE on iPhone. I have OBIEE installed on my local machine. When i try to login into OBIEE through iPhone App I am always getting *'Authentication Error - Server Authentication Failed'* error though I am able to login into OBIEE through Mobile Browser. I am not able to figure out what is the problem.
Is there any configuration required on server side or some settings in Mobile App?
Kindly put your thoughts on this and help me out.
I am also having this error on the iPad/iOS/iPhone for some of my users but not all.
This error appears when you click on the "Login" button.
The status will be then "Authentication With Server Configuration Setting"...
With a popup displaying: Authentication Error Server Authentication Failed, Please Check Settings and Re-try
The same account works fine on the full version (IE + Mozilla).

In our case, we get this error when a user group is defaulted to a dashboard where not all the pages are accessible by this group.
The workaround is to change the user's Starting Page under 'my account' to a dashboard where the user has access to all its pages (e.g. My Dashboard).
