I have the same problem in weblogic JAAS setting, I have researched and done what they say the forums, change the java.security, set the jaas.config JAVA_OPTIONS but not authenticate redirects the login method. Jar loginmule

    My configuration is:

    - use the default realm weblogic
    - in the web.xml
    <welcome-file-list>
    <welcome-file>faces/login.jsp</welcome-file>
    </welcome-file-list>
    <security-constraint>
    <web-resource-collection>
    <web-resource-name>AdminPages</web-resource-name>

These pages are only accessible by authorized administrators.

    <url-pattern>/VisualizarPlanesServicioActivos/VerPlanesServicioActivos.xhtml</url-pattern>
    <http-method>GET</http-method>
    </web-resource-collection>
    <auth-constraint>

These are the roles who have access.

    <role-name>admin</role-name>
    </auth-constraint>
    <user-data-constraint>

This is how the user data must be transmitted.

    <transport-guarantee>NONE</transport-guarantee>
    </user-data-constraint>
    </security-constraint>
    <login-config>
    <auth-method>FORM</auth-method>
    <realm-name>myrealm</realm-name>
    <form-login-config>
    <form-login-page>/login.jsp</form-login-page>
    <form-error-page>/loginerror.jsp</form-error-page>
    </form-login-config>
    </login-config>
    <security-role>

An administrator

    <role-name>admin</role-name>
    </security-role>

    - in the weblogic.xml
    <security-role-assignment>
    <role-name>admin</role-name>
    <principal-name>testuser</principal-name>
    </security-role-assignment>

    - login.jsp

FormBased Authentication Demo in WebLogic Sample

Username:

Password:

    - jaas.config
    myrealm {
    tigologinmodule.TigoLoginModule required debug=true;
    };

    - java.security
    login.config.url.1=file:D:/jaas.config

    - starWeblogic.cmd
    set JAVA_OPTIONS=%JAVA_OPTIONS% -Djava.security.auth.login.config=D:\jaas.config

    but it has not worked because it does not enter the login method. jar where I have the sources LoginModule
