Replication Node State Table

Hi Charles,

You write about the Replication Node State Table that it contains(Oracle NoSQL Database Slides From HPTS from your blog):
-     Allos for varying topology and response times as seen from the drivers
What does that mean?

    What this means is that if you have (say) a Replication Group with a replication factor of 3, and 2 of the nodes are local (say in San Francisco) and the other is not local (say NY), then by keeping track of response times in the RNST, we can dispatch requests to the "closest" node which can satisfy a request.
