    Typical installation

      Hi,

Can you tell us what is a typical installation of Oracle NoSQL Database ?
I mean what Oracle recommends in terms of:
      - Number of data center
      - Replication factor
      - Number of replication groups
      - Distribution of nodes across data center
      - Consistency parameter
      - Sync policy
      - Rep Ack policy
      Thanks

Data Centers and distribution: whatever is suitable for your disaster recovery scenario. Future releases will have more and better support for this.

Replication Factor: 3 is generally the most appropriate, but more is fine if you want to add read scalability.

Replication Groups: there is a chapter in the admin guide on sizing. Using this in conjunction with the spreadsheet in the distribution you can size the number of rep groups.

Consistency Parameter: whichever of the four options is appropriate for your application

          Sync/RepAck policy: no_sync,simple_majority,no_sync.
