Hi.. I am getting following error in an event of a webpage.
Oracle SQLException: No more data to read from socket
java.sql.SQLException: No more data to read from socket
Its happening for a specific single event in our web application. Can anybody pin point the problem area.. (11g DB)
Thanks for the clue.. !! We are using 11g database. Any idea tht which will be compatible for this? & one more question.. With that version all other Frontend forms are working great..!! only this form is having mentioned error? Then why all other forms are not giving same error..?
Note: In the application log we are getting the below mentioned error:-- Any help will be welcome
<Jan 20, 2012 3:19:41 PM CET> <Error> <JDBC> <BEA-001112> <Test "select count(*) from Mod_gach_r" set up for pool "SciApp1" failed with exception: "java.sql.SQLException: OALL8 is in an inconsistent state".>
Ok , As u said I will get the code ASAP. Just to explain that situation.. the event is calling a Stored procedure which is having only select queries & via out parameter a value is being sent out to front end.
From the Weblogic server log, today I came to know that, the event is working fine when its dealing with small set of data. But whenver we are giving it large dataset fetching condition , its throwing error..!!!
Can you give me some clue on that.. is that because of smaller range of array..?
You should narrow down the problem, and ideally you should be able to duplicate
it in a small standalone program with no weblogic in the picture. This may be a
new driver bug, but at first blush, it sounds like a DBMS problem, so you need
a small duplicator to get progress with Oracle support. Have your DBA check
the DBMS error log to see if there is any hint of problems there, when you
have this happen to you.
