On line 1 of /tmp/zcfg.final:This indicates one of two things:
SYSsolaris10: No such zone configured
Problem configuring the zone10 zone, exiting
1. You are not running Solaris 11. You may be running Solaris 11 Express, where that template zone name would have been SUNWsolaris10 rather than SYSsolaris10.
2. You do not have the solaris10 brand installed. You can fix that with:
In either case, it would probably be better for the script that wraps the archive to check before trying to install the zone to give a more helpful error message.
# pkg install pkg:/system/zones/brand/brand-solaris10
rm: Cannot remove any directory in the path of the current working directoryThis seems to be an unrelated bug in the error handling routines in the script that wraps the archive. I'll raise this thread to the attention of those that assemble the VM Templates.
rm: Unable to remove directory //bootimage.7Oayzm: Directory not empty
Did you by any chance read the message I wrote yesterday? If so and it didn't help you make progress, could you explain why it didn't help you make progress? In particular:
- Have you verified that you are running Solaris 11 and not Solaris 11 Express? Does /etc/release say that it is "Oracle Solaris 11 11/11"?
- Have you verified that you have the package that delivers the solaris10 brand installed?
