We've performed similar migrations using goldengate to minimize downtime. With this method, you don't have to worry about version or endian differences. Other options are export/import (unlikely with the size of the database), transient logical standby databases, and standard upgrade, backup, convert endian, restore method.

    Migration from solaris to linux:
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E12530_01/oam.1014/b32416/sol_linx.htm

    Miration best practices:
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/features/availability/xmigration-11-133466.pdf

Since its cross platform you an have rman in use:

    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/backup.102/b14191/dbxptrn.htm

But oracle dont recommend to use physical migration on exadata becasuse this generally voilates the best practices on exadata.

Use following methods however if you have downtime available.

    1) Transport tablespace (very convenient)
    2) Data pump (easy to use)
    3) Goldan gate
    4) CTAS
    5) SQl loader
    6) Logical standby database using rolling upgrade.

We did a migration of 15 TB with parallel DB Links.
But you should consider a parallel ETL, data feeding etc .. for both database systems.
