    Import only role-user from db 10 in a 11gr2

      hello to all

I had done a data pump export from 10g, full export, now I have to import in another installation (db11gR2), for my reason, I wish done it in 2 step:

      1) before I will import only roles and users (not system roles-users, eg, I will not import system,sys... and others system user because already created with installation of 11g)

      2) then schema user, own my schema user.

      My question is :

how can I import roles/users in 11g(second db) without sys, sysman, system etc users, by Oracle Data Pump?

      Thanks you very much

Pl post details of exact versions of "10g", "11gR2" and OS on both source and target, along with the complete export command syntax that was used.

Why not perform a full import on the target in one-step ?

            Hello,

how can I import roles/users in 11g(second db) without sys, sysman, system etc users, by Oracle Data Pump?
SYS Objects are not exported by DATAPUMP:
            A number of system schemas cannot be exported because they are not user schemas;
they contain Oracle-managed data and metadata. Examples of system schemas that are
not exported include SYS, ORDSYS, and MDSYS.
            Reference:

            http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28319/dp_export.htm

However, SYSMAN is exported by DATAPUMP.

So if you intend to select the Schemas you intend to Export/Import you may use the SCHEMAS parameter.

Also, it's possible to select the Object Type you want (or not) by using the INCLUDE/EXCLUDE Parameter.

            You'll have some examples below:

            Hope this help.
            Best regards,
