I am looking for ways to do this as we need to extract parts of the the data for export to a website but this will first go to a SQL "staging post" so that the required data can be selected.
I have looked at the Microsoft SSMA pack but this appears to need manual intervention while we ideally want to run this on a nightly basis to refresh the website data with scripts running overnight.
Any help here much appreaciated.

Migration from 11g to SQL Server 2008 R2: Please be aware that this is an Oracle forum and the aim is to assist customers to migrate to Oracle not to move away. For this kind of question it would be better to get in touch with Microsoft.
This isn't a migration solution - but you can use linked servers in the SQL Server to get to the ORacle data - if your not truely moving off from oracle - but just want to get the data to the sql server that is a easy way to do it & we use that methosd all the time
Or you can use the ODBC Gateway from Oracle to push data out to SQL Server. If data has to be published frequently in SQL Server from Oracle then using products like Oracle Golden Gate will be ideal. What tools/methods to use will depend on the specific use case.
