How to fire query automatically in af. query panel

I'm using ADF default query panel (with a view criteria) and standard report as resultant component of the query component. Now, I have preference list (power view option) at the top of application, when user selects the parameters and it populates the query panel search fields automatically. I set the auto query option in view criteria, but this works only if I refresh the page or click the search button . I need to fire the report immediately as soon as query parameters are populated. Any ideas are appreciated.
