How to set the position of FAPs dynamically ?

Hi all,

I have 3 FAPs, say FAP01, FAP02,FAP03.

FAP03 prints always & anyone of the remaining 2 prints.

if FAP01 prints, then FAP03 should be printed at Abs + 0, Max + 0
if FAP02 prints, then FAP03 should be printed at Rel + 2, Rel + 2.

I do not want to duplicate FAP02 & FAP03 and adding appropriate triggers.

Please pour down your ideas. Thanks in advance !!

A few of ways to accomplish this, but its hard to tell without knowing the size and positioning of your sections.

Option 1 is to utilize the Store Origin and then use that to position FAP03. Not sure if that works or not based on your description. because it sounds like if #1 print2 then 3 goes below it and if #2 prints then #3 goes below it.

Option 2 is to use a fake place holder image. Meaning the image has no height and is less than half the size of your page size (or smaller). I have nominally called this POSITION and used it over and over again from the library across many forms. The only function of "POSITION" is to get triggered for the placement of the next image - this takes the place of duplicating #3. Its a very useful trick when you have dynamic positioning needs.
