could not enable Direct3d on pipeline screen 0
Mar 26, 2012 12:52 AM
i have made a fullscreen game in java and i have a big problem on some systems:
java prints out could not enable direct3d on pipeline screen 0.
e.g. intel g41 chipset win 7 32 bit (which is completley new)
directx diagnotstic tool shows no error
isPageFlipping() returns false, which makes the game look very choppy.
I have the same question

in response to
1. set J2D_D3D_NO_HWCHECK=true
2. java -jar yourgame.jar
works perfect for me, but will probably depend on the game
