My question is a generic one, still assuming my DB version is 10.2.0.4 and 188.8.131.52
We have some incremental backups performed on a database. Now how we can identify if those backups are differential or cumulative type?
In list backup command, all it will show is "Incr", but not any specific type.
I some where read that the below query will help us
select file#,incremental_level,incremental_change#,checkpoint_change# , checkpoint_time
order by 1,4;
it contains a column INCREMENTAL_CHANGE#, with this column you can figure out if it is cumulative by comparing it with the checkpoint_change# of the previous backup...
Please let me know if there is any other way to find it? even do we have any enhancements to check this in 184.108.40.206?
Thanks in advance
