    Error running upgradeADF

    user8817436
      Hello,

I am trying to get WebLogic 10.3.5 installed with the right ADF version in a Linux environment. Following information provided here - http://tompeez.wordpress.com/2011/06/25/upgrading-wls-10-3-5-with-adf-runtime-11-1-2-0-0-sherman-patch , all steps completed fine until the upgradeADF.

      wls:/offline> upgradeADF('/opt/oracle/middleware/user_projects/domains/domainName')
      Traceback (innermost last):
      File "<console>", line 1, in ?
File "/opt/oracle/middleware/oracle_common/common/wlst/adfWLSTCommands.py", line 33, in upgradeADF
      File "/opt/oracle/middleware/oracle_common/common/wlst/adfWLSTCommands.py", line 62, in adf_upgradeLibraries
      File "/opt/oracle/middleware/oracle_common/common/wlst/oracle-jrf-config.py", line 631, in jrf_upgrade_assignTargets
      File "/opt/oracle/middleware/oracle_common/common/wlst/oracle-jrf-config.py", line 673, in jrf_getJRFTargetMBeans
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'getTargets'

Any suggestions on what could be the cause of this?

      Thanks.

Have you set the ORACLE_HOME variable as mentioned in the readme?

            Hi,

Are you trying to upgrade your domain from 11.1.1.5 or 6 to 11.1.2? or are you trying to install the 11.1.2.1.0 runtime libraries into a fresh WLS domain? You can always use the quickStart.sh located on your <Middleware_HOME>/utils/quickStart to create a new domain on top of an existing server. Make sure you select to install the JRF runtime classes.

              Hi,

              To install ADF Runtime:
              1. Download ofm_appdev_generic_11.1.1.6.0_disk1_1of1.zip from OTN
              2. Install patches 14582286 and 14582309
              3. Shutdown your domain (if not)
              4. Run config.sh (cmd) from .../wlserver_10.3\common\bin
              5. Select Oracle JRF and Enterprise Manger
              6. Run again upgradeADF, example:
              wls:/offline>upgradeADF('D:\Oracle\Product\Middleware\user_projects\domains\SETA_Domain')
Target Library "jsf#2.0@1.0.0.0_2-0-2" to JRF "AdminServer"
              7. Start your domain

              Saludos
