Attaching Zone with packages not present on Global

    903728
      Hello,

Before moving a zone, I attempted to detach and attach it to verify everything was OK.

Unfortunately attach failed with the following errors related to packages installed only on the non-global zone:

      GLOBAL# zoneadm -z NONGLOBAL attach
These packages installed on the source system are inconsistent with this system:
      SMCnc: not installed
      (110)
      ....
      _locate: not installed
      (4.1)
      _looker: version mismatch
      (1.3.4)
      (1.3.3)
      _nbu: version mismatch
      (6.5.6)
      (6.0MP3)
These patches installed on the source system are inconsistent with this system:
      125136-33: not installed
      125137-33: not installed

'_' replaces our little prefix for privacy reasons here.

The mismatch I understand, and we resolved it.

The packages only installed on the non-global zone are for some of our tools that really do not need to be on the global zone, and not on all the other non-global zones either. One of our sysadmins attempted an attach-u, but that removed ALL of the packages a team had built and installed on the non-global zone.

Is there any way to attach the zone without a -f , and without losing the packages only on the guest?

      Thank you.
