XE is 32-bit, so you'll find the 'Oracle in XE' driver entry via c:\Windows\SysWoW64\odbcad32.exe.
I has checked in "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe".
Yes i ofcourse i can find "Oracle in XE" in Driver tab.
But, i can't able to see the aboe entry in VB.Net. How can i access "Oracle in XE" from VB.Net.
Anyhow thanks for your reply.
In the VS Wizard you described, on Choose Data Source dialog, I can see e.g. Oracle Database -> Data provider drop-down with ".NET Framework Data Provider for OLE DB" and another one "... for Oracle".1 person found this helpful
Note that the Microsoft drivers are deprecated. For Oracle, I guess you'll need to install ODT for VS tools (from ODAC package) if not included with XE. And in that case VS need to be higher edition than Express.
