I would try cross-posting this here to see if you get any add'l help:
Did you add your ContentServer directory to the PATH as the docs require?
looks like the CS jars aren't in the classpath.
csInstall.bat calls setClasspath.bat which does exactly that - i.e. add the CS directory to the classpath. Seems like something else is amiss.
I used JSK to install content server and that resolved the problem.
Did you mean JDK? Interestingly enough, I have the exact same problem, and I was using the JDK. Which version were you using?
I used jump start kit to install content server.
i fix it by modify csInstall.bat,
"%JAVA_BIN%" -Xms128m -Xmx256m -Dos.name="Windows Server 2008"
just add ' -Dos.name="Windows Server 2008" ' behind the "%JAVA_BIN%" -Xms128m -Xmx256m

Thanks QfLee. That resolved the issue. How did you work that out? Seems really obscure.
I saw it at document
Content Server 7.6 Release Notes
Installation and Upgrade Notes
this original is
"To install CS75 GA package on Windows 2008R2, add -Dos.name="Windows Server 2008" in the JVM startup"
