Migrating Legacy ISAM files (COBOL/Bull JCL) to Oracle

We currently have a legacy asset/lease management application on JCL/COBOL technologies with ISAM files at the backend. There have been TPRs built to access/modify data within ISAM files that are only used programatically. There are nightly batches that update some of the data from ISAM files to Oracle DB.

We plan to migrate everything to .NET technology stack to interface with Oracle 11g DB at the backend. However since there are 28 various applications interfacing with the current system on jcl/cobol/isam stack, we are looking for an optimal way of migrating data from ISAM files to Oracle.

Is Oracle Tuxedo with SALT approach an option here?

Please suggest

Need more clarification here. Is the Cobol application updating the ISAM files or .Net application updating the ISAM files?. If the .Net app is trying to update the ISAM files then yes using a Tuxedo/Cobol service to perform the action willl work.

But it seems like you are looking for ways to migrate data from ISAM to Oracle. Is that correct?.
