    How to delay 'RUNNING' state

Is there a way for an application to delay Weblogic from reaching a RUNNING state and opening the tcp port? I have a OSGI-based app that takes a considerable amount of time to start, even after WL has reached 'RUNNING' state. The app often fails if it is accessed before it is fully ready, and the loadbalancer's periodic healthcheck triggers this issue.

What I'd really like to do is somehow prevent WL from opening its tcp port (or accepting requests on that port) until after the OSGI app has completely loaded and is ready to handle requests.

      Any suggestions?
