I do have four nics.
But during GI setup I chosed:
eth0 192.168.1.0/24 public
eth1 10.10.1.0/24 private
eth2 192.168.1.0/24 public
eth3 10.10.1.0/24 private
Btw: the system is running fine, just rac check is complaining.
But the metalink note is linked to 10g

Changed eth0 to eth1,eth2,eth3
Please use the SEARCH feature before posting - this is thread# 3 or 4 for this same question.
If you only have 2 NICs it was configured correctly according to your "university", However, your university configuration is WRONG and it is NOT a supported configuration.

Hey, due to onging problems with the given network configuration I like to change back to bonding devices.
Please assist me to change the config away from two single nics for each network (public + private) to one bond device for each network.
What are the commands ? What is the correct order to get this done ?
starting with Public or interconnect ?
shutting down clusterware ? etc....
So I like to setup the following configuration:
bond0 : eth0 + eth2 public interface
bond1: eth1 + eth3 private interface
